Btw, one must also keep in mind the origin of the name "Palestine" and what it represents. The name was introduced by the Crusaders, who being Jew hating Christians (not that Christians hate Jews, but they did then), probably did not want to call it Israel.

No, the Romans introduced the name. After the Emperor Hadrian put down the Second Jewish Rebellion in 135CE, he deported most of the surviving Jewish population. He then changed the province's name from Judea to Syria Palestina, and the capital's name from Jerusalem to Aelia Capitolina. He also built a Temple of Jove on the Temple Mount.
