There should be a hesitation when saying the name and that spelling also represents that hiatus. A hesitation? Why? Is there a silent ayan or alef in the word? Do you read or speak a semetic language? The pronunciation in Hebrew is closer to Yis-ro-ale and is rarely used. Instead, Hebrew speakers most often refer to Ha Eretz wich means the land as shorthand for the Land of Israel. What does "Isra-El" mean in your secret code and where can we get our very own secret decoder rings?
