You're not actually trying to give Clinton credit for THAT, are you? Hell, welfare reform item #3 in the Contract With America! You're going to give Clinton that?

While we have come out of the recession under Bush's near-perfect leadership, I don't give him credit for any more than I give Clinton credit for the bubble that gave us the recession.

I am so grateful to Bush for getting us back on track by starting up a recession.......

If anyone, it was Clinton who did that, or should I say, the bubble burst under his watch, but despite my criticism of him for a lot of things, I doubt there was anything he could have done to prevent it.
