To: LLCF who wrote (161276 ) 4/21/2002 11:00:26 PM From: hdl Read Replies (1) | Respond to OT-it is war. the arabs insist on war; they do not want a ceasefire- except a unilateral one. since they (media, political leaders, religious leaders) call for continually killing jews, Israel must fight as well. but israel, has not used amount of force against civilians that u s did in serbia, afghanistan, vietnam- to say nothing of japan and germany. palestinians kill palestinians- alleged collaborators, suicide bombers, civilian shields for terrorists. arabs (except jordan) refuse to take in palestinians- let them be refugees for 55 years. egypt and jordan don't give palestinians a state when they control west bank and gaza. kuwait threw out 200,000 palestinians- concerned re their loyalty when iraq invaded. arabs in 1948, 1956, 1967, 1973 tried to annihilate israel. this is serious, not silly. media, people are ignorant, biased. arabs have 22 votes in u n. muslims have 57 votes in u n. israel fights with one hand tied behind its back- because they are civilized-don't want to kill lots of civilians and/or because every one of their actions is scrutinized by media, u n, etc. their leaders don't spew hatred the way the muslims do. they don't target civilians the way the muslims do. their people don't kill muslims the way the indians do. btw- israel doesn't occupy palestine. there has never been a palestine. there is no recognized boundary. arafat has never agreed to a boundary. there was an armistice line. the palestinians have been under turks, english, egyptians, jordanians and since oslo - they are under arafat, plo, pa. they have never had a state. israel, u s, u n has offered them one. no one else ever did. btw- arafat - palestinians have obligations under oslo and other things they agreed to- and they have never met any of those obligations. but- media harps on israel's obligations- although israel meets them- world isn't satisfied
