Washington Times bought UPI in May, 2000. You are no doubt aware that the Reverend Sun Myung Moon owns the Washington Times. So UPI is part of the Moonie empire.

Looks like the pro-Israel hawks have a very firm grip on major newspapers and TV stations. I heard at one point CBS was up for sale and a guy approached them with the money they asked. But the guy got turned down because he was not Jewish... Media is vital to a cause, you know.

Reuters seems OK


After 9/11, Reuters changed their style book so that "Terrorists" had to be reported as "Gunman". That is when they went of my "believable" list.
