Fortunately or unfortunately, I'm real stubborn. <g>

And the site had already made major strides in ridding itself of that reputation but tossing the tools/rules that were causing it.

I look at it as the site having a negative reputation in much the same way I have a reputation as a Canadian short-seller in league with interplanetary crime syndicates. The reputation exists whether it's warranted or not, and as long as not everyone believes it, I'm fine with that.

But the fact that it's Anthony making that assertion is disconcerting, as I tend to take seriously most of what he says, despite the occasional (well, okay. Frequent) potty-mouthed hyperbole. I don't take Mary's statements seriously on the matter because she strays away from plain hype and gets into patent falsehoods.

Anthony, on the other hand, always has a reason for such statements. And that reason isn't always "because I really think this is true". Either he's foolish enough to take Mary at her word (and I don't think for a second that he is -- say what you will about him, he's no fool) or he really thinks I'm not the same honest, ethical person he's always known me to be. Or he's got another motive for portraying me in a negative light, which I think is likely the case.
