Augie, I don't suggest that anyone trade on what I say because I've lost my ass lately. But, there is speculation that Verizon (VZ) could fair badly when it reports earnings Tuesday "before the bell". If so, QCOM should drop on Tuesday because the wireless portion of VZ is based primarily on QCOM's CDMA technology. Ericson also reports on Monday I believe. Having said that I still expect good results for QCOM on Wednesday "after the bell". I may consider puts on VZ Monday but will for sure buy calls on QCOM on either Tuesday or Wednesday. I'm due to be right one of these times.
