Delbert,

re:"Actually a study that I can't cite right now shows that there is little change in fatalities by driving fuel efficient cars. More Cheney/Bush propaganda."

I don't know what you report you are thinking of, but according to a rather large report published by the National Academy Press titled: "Effectiveness and Impact of Corporate Average Fuel Economy (CAFE) Standards(2002)", increased mileage standards most likely resulted in an additional 2000 deaths per year, and an additional 13,000-26,000 serious injuries. So it depends, what little change, means to you.

And I've read several reports that have measured that several extra deaths per few hundred thousand passenger miles occur per several hundred pounds of car mass. It's simple physics. But techno retard will read and believe any propaganda the justifies whatever stupid idea they think is cool this five minutes.

Now one can spend an additional tens of thousands of dollars per car to reduce that risk. So the rich are safe and the poor die. But that's the normal agenda of the vacant liberal minded lefty loon crowd.

Yes if vacant liberal minded lefty loons cannot get the poor to murder their unborn childen, hell have them drive vehicles that kill em.
