wbmw, I think you underestimate how well their SDRAM solution did when it was released. I agree, it did extremely well. The other day I saw the entire Compaq commercial desktop line to be all SDR SDRAM. It is very disappointing to me as a geek, when a clearly inferior platform does well vs. undeniably superior ones (DDR and even RDRAM based). Could it be that the market is moving away from being technology driven to marketing driven? The direction seems to be pointing to the way movies are, being either successes or failures mostly determined by the amount of advertising, and number of screens on opening. Joe
