Starz Encore Announces Early Trial of Starz On Demand SVOD In Comcast Willow Grove/Lower Merion, PA Systems
ENGLEWOOD, Colo., April 22 /PRNewswire/ -- Starz Encore Group LLC (Starz Encore), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Liberty Media Corporation (NYSE: L - news, LMCb - news), announced that its Starz On Demand subscription video-on- demand (SVOD) service is now available as part of an early trial in Comcast Cable's Willow Grove and Lower Merion, Pennsylvania systems. As the single premium SVOD service in the markets, Starz On Demand is presently bundled at no additional monthly charge for Comcast Digital Cable customers with the Starz Super Pak, Starz Encore's collection of digital hit movie channels.
