I think a lot of people(including me) voted for Bush instead of Gore partly because Gore had too much of the stink of Clinton still on him.In a couple of more years, that won't be the case, IMHO.
If Bush continues to come out with anti-democratic stances like supporting coups of democratically elected governments in Venezuala, he will lose a lot of the center by 2004.
