<<How close do you live to a nuclear plant or to a proposed disposal site? >>

25 miles. The cooling lake is my #1 fishing spot. It is also visited by around a million people a year who fish, camp, swim, hike and ski.

I think less than 40 miles.
eia.doe.gov.

I used to live in Newport RI that's 40 miles and downwind.
and 30 miles to the Pilgrim Plant.
I also lived in Hamilton Mass, 20 miles to Seabrook, 20 miles to Pilgrim.

Distance, I never though of it. I would be perfectly happy to live next to a nuke plant. I understand nuke plants. So I don't have any fears of them vs 100000 times more deadly activities like eating, riding a bike, crossing the street or driving a car for a couple of miles.

Nukes, a system of beauty... watman.com As I type I can look accross my office and see Seabrook. So I type 10 feet away from a picture of Seabrook, gee does that count.
