Shorts one day and a parka the next. Now THAT is a description of December in Dallas. It wasn't even that warm in PR- it was cloudy and 80s. We were at the Caribe Hilton and it was very nice, right on the ocean- I lay in a hammock under the palm trees reading and feeling very much the lady of leisure, until I tried to get up.. and couldn't. It was so embarrassing. I thought I'd have to lie there like a hot dog in a bun until Dan got out of his meetings and came looking for me. I suppose there are worse fates. I finally managed to sort of roll myself out inch by inch. I made Dan go back that night and get in one, just to watch him try to get out. Irritatingly, he didn't have to roll out and fall on his knees. The market looks sucky, my stocks look sucky. I am off to enjoy this really beautiful day, and it won't cost me a cent.
