ERICY omitted from no bid Unicom lightning upgrade--Chinese minister returns from Korea and says, "US TOO."
Rumored too that KDDI is doing a lightning upgrade to 1X EVDO proior to 5/31 start of the World Soccur finals.

Amazing spin from QCOM to issue this release in response to falling stock price and Ericsson warning.

C'mon, do we really believe this BS "China United Telecomm Corp., scrambling to provide full-motion videos on cell-phones in time for soccer's World Cup next month"

Even if China United really wanted to do this, could they complete this project in time? No way! Looks to me like QCOM asked for a favorable mention here.
