Who said he was manipulating prices.......he was trying to prevent inflationary damage to the economy...something the law encourages This is a crock. It was a political ploy and you know it. It is inconceivable to me that, even you, could believe there was a legitimate purpose to the drawdown. If you do believe it, you're either totally naive or totally dumb. Dumb? I admit it. Yes, of course there was a political reason for doing it......I said so from the get go. However, there were other reasons as well which you seem to want to ignore. Do you think that every thing Bush does is apolitical? Of course, he's motivated by politics.........he wants to get reelected.
