LA public school. Where believe me the kids need sex education more than most places. My teacher friend is very disturbed by this rule. She feels the kids are being kept ignorant for the sake of those who would rather deny teen sex every takes place than deal with it. Head in the sand types or those who think sex is evil.

I'm pretty sure that most schools in America do teach sex ed. Still, the problem remains: Most kids learn more about sex from the arts and media than they do from parents, teachers, and the clergy combined. And I guarantee you that the arts and the media have their own ideas and agendas.

Tenchusatsu, not a lot unfortunately. Most professionals who work closely with children have to be careful when discussing sex with them. Pedophilia unfortunately keeps rearing its ugly head.

A friend of mine who works in day care.......a woman.....says they are told to limit the hugging or any other displays of affection towards the children. And who can blame them. Its usually the teachers, priests, etc who are innocent who get accused and the real perpetrators are often overlooked. Its really sad.......my friend says often the children want to be held but the day care workers are unwilling.

So sex education continues to be that stiff, very scientific version of sexual intercourse......the sperm swims up the stream to find the egg.......in other words, much like when I was a kid. You would think sex was a mechanical thing without emotion or drive.
