Mighty, I recall you saying that previously. I don't know anyone who uses Cingular. I can say, however, that I have been extremely pleased with the level of service that I have received from AT&T Wireless in the DC Area. I have, also, successfully used my phone in NYC, Tampa, Atlanta, San Diego at airports and the surrounding areas during business hours with little, or no, problems.

While TDMA may not be able to "bleed" the type of capacity that IS95 can, I believe that AT&T Wireless probably solved that problem by utilizing their additional spectrum.

Perhaps, the problem that you cite is more of a "Cingular" problem rather than a TDMA or a Cingular and AT&T problem.
