Each year, thousands of children are injured or killed by guns. Yet, the response from conservatives is that they need their guns at any cost. 1 - Guns are also used to protect children. 2 - Every year millions of unborn children are killed by abortion. The deaths of millions is much worse then the death or injury of thousands. 3 - Accidents are different then deliberate killing. Tens of thousands die in car accidents but we don't try to ban cars. But deliberate killing of innocent unthreatening humans should be illegal. Tim, your defense of guns is really beneath who you are. I won't even argue the issue with you. Just an example of stuff I read all the time in the local papers........this past weekend, two teenagers were practicing deer hunting in the fields behind their houses. Two of their shotgun slugs missed their targets and hit a high school teenager driving his car. He was able to drive his car off the road by using his arms......he had no idea what happened. Both of his hands were hit; one hand is slightly paralyzed. He is captain of his football team and was trying for a college scholarship.......that may be in jeopardy now. Like I said, its beneath the kind of person you are to continue to defend such stupidity. And if you disagree, that's fine but I don't want to argue the point anymore. I don't think its an issue that should be decided by men. Its the woman who bears both the emotional and physical toll when it comes to this decision; the man only the emotional. So only women get to decide this issues. I think woman should play the primary role in deciding......after all, its their bodies. What a bunch of nonsense. It's an issue for humans, and Americans, not just for one sex. Excuse me, you are the one for individual rights......do you mean individual rights only for men? If you assume abortion is the killing of an innocent human then it doesn't make sense that men can't try to save these unborn children. I am not making that assumption, you are. If you assume that abortion is just removing a blob of cells then it makes no sense that men shouldn't be able to fight restrictions against abortion. They have......abortions are only allowed up until the end of the first trimester. Even if you are limiting the decision to the sex that is most directly involved you ignore the millions of male unborn babies that have been killed by abortion. Well, that makes sense.......the women have the say when the baby is female and the men have the say when the baby is male.
