The specifics of the warnings will never be known. All that we know for sure is that a terrorist bombing - one of the first cases of modern terrorism on such a scale - leveled the building and killed nearly 100 people. I wonder, would the British have been acting legitimately if they had responded to the bombing in the same way that the Israelis have responded when terror has been used against them?
