I think he has a catch 22 on his hands at this point 703 million today, which when added to the rest of April is still just slightly lagging the rate of the last few months (let's say the pace is no longer accelerating). He will drain because gold is moving up slowly, putting in higher lows, but he'll do it slowly enough so the market doesn't go into a tailspin. I feel like saying he's doing a pretty good job of walking the tight rope, while at the same time it feels stupid commending someone for doing a good job of something they never should have done in the first place.
