If the number is spun as good, really no matter what it is, I will put add'l shorts back on into it" My plan exactly, but my shorts will be MSFT, LLTC & MXIM I suspect a decline in real estate is looming. I have already sold all my properties except the house I live in and looked into shorting homebuilders but found their valuations to be very reasonable. I am going to look at other related sectors like builders merchants, home furnishing etc. Bear in mind the real estate market is often the last thing to cave in during an economic decline so there is a risk you are a few months too early.
