Brian, I think that the term "wife" meant KLIC, after all, semibear then continued and removed the make up providing comparative description of KLIC past performance with some leading semi-equip serving the same market. Am I wrong in my interpretation?

Brian - your perceptions were accurate.

As you correctly and implicitly understood, no one could have POSSIBLY been referring to my wife (duh) but rather to my supposed attachment to KLIC. And your response was completely right on because the poster was revealing the most outright double standard possible: in the equipment arena, a huge number of folks are 'married to' AMAT to a far greater degree then I was ever attached to KLIC.

The fact that AMAT has a price to sales ratio of 6-7 while KLIC's is ~<2, or the fact that AMAT's recent stock split had all the appearances of a desperate attempt to drive the price up (the opposite has occurred), are apparently 'irrelevant' ...and my basis for presenting such info is OBVIOUSLY based upon my nuptials with KLIC!

If your criteria to qualify for 'ignore' status is a blatant display of double standards, then your initial opinion was completely on the mark.
