A non-violent event would have produced less undesirable results. But even that would add to Le Pens publicity.

If the opposition to him is seen as some left wing freaks throwing stuff, destroying property, it obviously strengthens him, adds more appeal to him in the mainstream.

Albert, they need to vote. Did you see what the percentage turnouts were? They were pathetic!

One day, one of the major democracies will end up with a Hitler because of low voter turnout.
