"Bookings improved for 4 months, but not billings??"

I guess that means the lead time on semi equip is longer than 4 mths.

Look at it this way, if we get a b2b of 1.04 every month, then that means that the semi equip revs would grow by 17% annually.

So put very simply any semi equip company out there with a PE of less than 17 is probably fairly valued.

A PS of 26 though, is probably a little overvalued, so I feel OK about my LLTC short.

The booking stuff may be for inventory re-building

This is equipment not chips. Everybody looks at bookings. Any way you look at this is bullish. The orders are coming from foundries and Drams which are funded by the governments of Asia. This cycle should mirror the false rebound in 97.

There is just no way in hell the bookings will return to 2000 levels with their customer's customer going bankrupt and bleeding red ink.
