E, I have tried to stay away from using the term "immoral" (and do not believe I have used it in any of these related sexual discussions), because of its religious implications. If I knew I were talking to largely religious group, I might use it.

Given the structure of American society today, with all the diversity, I don't believe a moral argument would be effective. Like, yeah, well, whose morals are we using here?

In the secular vein, I might propose "an abomination of nature," or similar. And I mean by that a twisting, torturous, obscene convolution of our bodies that defiles our human nature. I could work more on getting the words right.

I'm trying to articulate what our every instinct tells us is wrong and should not be.

I never set myself up as an arbiter of what behavior qualifies for this kind of label. I only speak for myself. I think I know it when I see it. What I want, is to encourage others to voice their opinions and to not have to feel that they will be castigated and labelled for doing so.

To me, that's what these discussions are all about.
