Al Gore's Bad Trip

Some of former vice president Al Gore's old pot smoking
buddies must be wondering whether he was hallucinating on
Monday, when he spontaneously flashed-back to his stinging
defeat two years ago during a Tennessee speech criticizing
President Bush on the environment.

"(Bush) ought to be a little more careful about claiming
that a majority of the voters endorsed his policy payoffs
to polluters who pressured him to break his promises to the
public," the former Thai-stick toking Democrat railed.

The reference was to Gore's electoral college loss despite
getting more popular votes, an episode that apparently
still rankles so much that he can't keep from mentioning it
no matter how bad it makes him look.

Better a drug-induced flashback than sour grapes from a
disgruntled Democrat who still can't accept political
reality.

Bullshit, the good British press is the fairest in the world. Just because it might some times disagree with the press here in the USA doesn't mean it's "crap".
