Joe
re: from the past

how do you define past?

10 minutes ago or longer or is that too conservative?

sfgate.com

if I recall it correctly, national front is behind attacks synagogues in France and article dates 2002.

re: that he has made in the past,

right, after the french court fined him he tries to keep his mouse shot and let national front do the talking

re: There is an anti-immigrant movement gathering strength across Europe,

just because he is anti-Muslim that does not mean that he is not an anti-Semitic or that he is pro-Israeli.

I'd like to see some evidence that he supports Israel while blowing up synagogues in France.

The "mainstream" is fighting this anti-immigrant trend desperately, and resort to desperate measures, like calling them all fascist.

Joe, Le Pen is on the extreme right......that's why they call him fascist. And he is very nationalistic and anti EU. He reminds the mainstream of another extreme right winger from the past........his name starts with an H.........Hatler, Hisler.....something like that.
