I hope they do better also. They are a pretty conservative crew so my guess is they will be right on the January guidance with likely 18 cents earnings.

It's interesting on the semi BB ratio that the previous cyle low was @ 0.56 in Aug'98 - then it rose to 1.33 in March '99 tailed off a tad but never dropped below 1.07 and then rose up to 1.44 in Feb'00 before starting down and finally dropped below 1.00 for the first time in that cycle in Dec'00. The B2B then bottomed @ 0.44 in april'01 and then started the long climb back to above 1.00 in March'02 finally. What does this say about the length of the current up leg now 11 months and counting? Not sure, but the 0.44 bottom in April'01 was lower than any ratio I've seen in the last 7 years. I'd like to think that the next peak might be historically the highest ever but the Y2K effect may have distorted things - who knows?
