Thanx for TRIN Report.
Do you know the details of how the TRIN is calculated? Could it be that huge amount of shares traded in a few stocks (WCOM and ERICY today) screw the whole indicator?

BTW, Don Hays is very bullish because of TRIN as well.

I'm somewhat short this market and was kicking myself for not being much shorter. The thing is: I don't want to short the bottom.

Semi equipment book to bill is over 1 for the first time in many moons, but I don't see any fireworks.

The TRIN is corrupted as is the A/D line by non-stocks. Almost 48 % I believe are non-stocks if I remember correctly. There is a stocks-only TRIN but I do not know where to get that from. That is a better indicator (even though one may say using the same corrupted data for comparing point A to point B is a fair comparison) per an article I read recently in Stocks and Commodities magazine. It discussed the false signals sent out before by the traditional TRIN. I think it came out 2 months back.

Yes the TRINQ is as applied to the Nasdaq.

J.T. How do the TRIN numbers look now? Also, can TRIN data be found in Barron's? If so, where?

Thanks.
