i'd agree with the spx thoughts

i updated the market commentary tonite, came to similar conclusion on spx. with the spx i also mentioned the sixty min and weekly which can be found on intraday2 and intraday3 sections if anyone would like to see those. the 60min actually has the potential to bounce off a downward regression channel top as support here, i'm not holding my breath but its the only positive i could find, lol. 1100 sure looks like the must-hold area to me as well, over the next day or two. the worst thing is on this and the ndx imo was the inability to recover the last "drawable" trendline since sept lows. this leaves us with fibs, local lows and air as support, lol.

on the ndx, i went back to the 12-94 lows and connected them to the 7-96 lows, that value is about 1275 this week if 1320 were taken out, below that would be one last fib number, around 1227. all indexes on the page got at least a mention in the commentary.

"Betting on the next web". Article in latest issue of Red Herring about the "next" web. Looks like it's going to be bigger and better than this net of useless web sites. Thanks to the wonders of XML and intelligent software agents, online B2B transactions are projected to be between $4 trillion and $7 trillion by 2005. I swear. I read this same article last year. Lol.

And yes. Finally an article that sees the big web software companies of possibly not being able to capitalize as much as they currently hope they will.

"The good news for companies is that the cost of Web development and maintenance is coming way down. In fact, there is so much cheap software available in the open-source world that this trend poses a serious threat to the enterprise software establishment. This is a major potential market disruption that we will most certainly be watching."

Something else I noticed. Tons of articles on Nano Technology in this issue and in previous issues. Seems like Red Herring is the Nano hype magazine. Brother.

Sell in May and go away...
This year I am hearing many more will be doing this.
Interested in a little survey. How many of you are thinking of following that old Wall Street adage?
