unsporterized Springfield Hey, I learned the manual of arms with one of those in High School ROTC, and was on a "Pershing Rifle" drill team with one in college. I think I could still do a "Queen Anne's Salute" with one. The "Kings Village" in Waikiki, a block from my place, has a drill team using Springfields, based on the "Kings Guard" in Oahu in 1880. They perform a "Changing of the Guard" ceremony at 6pm every day, using Springfields, of course. These Guys are better than my drill team ever was. Here is a URL to them. kings-village.com
