I make that $2.78B. Nearer 3 than 2.

Is that definitely the case? I thought Israel had armed (among others) the apartheid regime in SA - was that with US approval? I'd agree it's a lot sounder than (say) Indonesia, but IMO it's a lot less safe than (e.g.) Canada, or Australia, or indeed the UK. Plus we're less likely to reverse-engineer it than the Israelis.
I agree about their military, though - very skilled and capable. They even have their own WMD...
