So why should I bother with you if you're a hit-and-run arteeste?

Hi marcos,

Funny thing: I was just listening to NPR (yep, I'm a fleece-wearing, NPR-listening kinda liberal) and they were interviewing a writer for a Catholic magazine, who mentioned that the priest scandal is not limited to the US. There have been incidents in Europe and Africa... So I'm not surprised to hear about Canada as well.

I don't think it's right, either, for people to start taking legal action after the accused is dead. There are statutes of limitation on such things here in the US, and for good reason. One should be asking "What good would bringing accusations against a dead person do for me personally?". Money's not gonna solve a thing, and dragging the person's memory through the mud only services the basest type of revenge urge.
