Volume on the NASDAQ has been very strong today. That could indicate we are nearing another short term bottom.

From Briefing.com: 13:23 ET Nasdaq Composite Intraday -- Technical -- The index has stabilized at support highlighted this morning following the midday breakdown. Intraday will need to see sustained action back above the 1747/1750 area to help neutralize the very short term bias. Failure leaves the door open to new lows with next supports at 1733 and 1724 (April low).

13:09 ET Market Volume Total volume traded is on the heavy side today. The Nasdaq has already cleared the 1 billion share mark and is on pace to push 1.9 billion for the day. NYSE volume is also solid with 728 million total shares traded to this point in the session.

Personally I would like a chance to buy AMAT closer to 25.

That being said it would not surprise me in the least if the SOX tests 550 again before turning upward for a swing back above 600.

Gottfried, I'm not sure of the present situation with Zack's on their subscription plan(s). I was a member once, but I gave it up about a year ago.

There are a couple of links listed in the previous post that may provide more insight on the situation. One of the links seems to indicate that the entire list can be viewed at that URL.
