Here's the thing...I don't want the dollar to go up in smoke anymore than anyone else (especially since all my assets are denominated in dollars other than the home I live in and some gold and silver bullion I have stashed away). That said, the real target of my venom are those entrusted with protecting the purchasing power of the dollar, ie, Congress and the Fed. They've done a miserable job of it, and as a result the entire country will be paying an ever-escalating tax on everything (especially savings).
