jj, also waiting on my new Athlon system. It should be pretty quick, and in this week. I think it's 1.57 GHZ with that equivalent of 1.9 GHZ on their pseudo scale. Bought it reasonable for about $800 with a quick CDRW, Win XP, 80Gig HDD, 256 MB Ram 332 SDRAM?, nVidea G-Force, those cheezy speakers that actually sound decent, etc. I figure they had about $550 in that unit, including the OS license. It is so hard to find a reasonably priced Athlon unit. Sometimes Bestbuy has an E-machines, but it is real rare.
