Price Headley SEZ:

As the market fells Monday, options traders actually showed a greater interest in calls compared to puts relative to the prior two days' trading. The CBOE equity put/call ratio finished Monday at 58%, versus 66% on Friday and 81% on Thursday. This shows that investor optimism is actually rising during this decline, as the put/call ratio falls when bullish interest in calls picks up compared to bearish trading in puts.
