Apple is now giving a $100-off deal when buying an Apple computer and an iPod. I think someone here suggested that very idea. Probably a good idea that may generate more profit while reducing the margin a little. I tend to think profit-generating Mac-a-holics, who buy anything Apple makes immediately, have probably already bought their iPods, so now Apple needs to stimulate more interest before similar devices flood the market and drive down the price. news.com.com Steve
