At our current pace, humans will be endangered in 100 years only after most of our natural resources are polluted and depleted and ozone layer destroyed. The good news is that we can start reversing these trends with proper leadership and make human extinction less inevitable. Whatever force put Bush-Cheney in power is exactly the one we need to change, educate and fight. Just doesn't make sense anymore. Selfish, short-term thinking at best.
