Considering that Russian solgiers may run into Checian Al Quida militants, or people who fought against the Russians in Afganistan, they might prove to be worse than many others. Can you image, a terror incident occurs, the Russians retaliate, the Imams start saying the Russians are the devils, look what they did to Checnia, let's get them. They are another US Army in the eyes of fundementalists.

No the Palestinians believe the border should be policed by unemployeed Mujahadim from Afganistan, ideally or by the UN. The first because they could contribute to their end goal, the second because they would not interfere with the end goal. Anybody else, would be killed to get them out of their, so they can go back to the end goal.
