Your premise was abundantly clear but it was not analogous. Both situations reflect the need to trade life for the convenience of people. No, they don't...........drilling the ANWR is for the purpose of maintaining a US way of life which by almost any metric is excessive especially in relation to the rest of the world. Prohibiting drilling is intended to keep the area and its ecology in good health. Abortion is used in cases where a birth is inappropriate typically for economic and/or pyschological reasons. I suppose you can find some way to connect the two but it seems to me that you are reaching.
