I was speaking in broader, more general terms about prefering The Old World to the U.S. I'd like longer vacations, too <g>, but I don't think we need to use The Old World as the reason for them.

The high murder rate is in the Third World portion of this country. Sad fact. So many other statistics in this country are influenced by this as well.
