SM, do you know how it works? What you are describing does not sound viable, although something a bit like it might be happening on a small basis.

Is this all according to ZoneAlarm.com or is there an independent report of these activities?

SM,

When Comcast installed high speed cable for the tech suggested getting Zone Alarm. I got it. My next door neighbor got cable and I passed on the suggestion I received. He said he didn't think he really needed it. Guess someone screwed his computer up within a month. Now he has zone alarm.

*disclaimer I have no financial or other interest or even know how efficient or effective Zone Alarm is but I have it. (g)
