JC, Tim argued a meaning. I disagreed with him, believing that Poet used the word correctly, and offered the reason why. According to the AHD, you ARE homophobic. Period. If you and the other homophobic people on the thread or in the US, find that offensive, take it up with AHD. ANd your statistics are very frightening. It seems homophobia IS rampant and, contrary to what you are trying to assert, is very threatening to gays and the numbers themselves are what lend credence to this. (59% of Americans say that homosexuality is morally wrong, 42% of Americans felt that homosexuality should be illegal).
