Perhaps, but we had an eight year period during which American Foreign Policy was being run by neophytes. Based on the way in which the ejection of weapons inspectors was [mis]handled, I have little confidence that the previous administration would have been capable of running a mission to overthrow Saddam...


Neophytes, right! Its been very powerful watching professional diplomats putting together a peace process for Israel/Palestine, and watching them catch bin Laden and putting him on trial.

I can't wait for them to nation build Africa. I hope they can finish it before they have to leave at the end of 2004.
