Ratan:
I am against the British colonization that happened in the past. It is a small island with 50million plus residents. The British, even those who support the cause of immigrants, can't afford to absorb a flood of immigrants. Not all immigrants have been integrated into the British way of life. The main obstacles are color, culture, and religion. It appears that the Hindus by and large are able to accommodate to a certain extent to the British way of life much more than the muslims, whose rigid social, parental, and cultural restraints do not lend to an easy integration and come into conflict with the British way of life.
