LOL! Seriously, it's not the money, but the fact they they often add time to your calls thinking everyone is a dumb ewe and won't notice. When I discovered they were doing that to me, I did not complain, I immediately cancelled my service and I will NEVER use them again. What's more is the fact that these big companies behave more and more like their "service" is a dire necessity in life and everyone simply MUST budget for them as they do their food. I will never buy (no pun intended) into that. If TV, cable, radio, Internet, and telephone service all disappeared from the face of the planet tomorrow, I would not miss them. In fact, things would probably be a lot better. Well, I suppose I would still need Excel to assist me in calculating (and recalculating) Markov chains in the quest for the holy grail of investing. :-)

I yearn for the day when cold fusion restores the frontier and permanently reinstates a few of our lost freedoms. :-)
