American doesn't have the same over-population problems - yet. Also, we do have adequate access to birth control, though the religious right doesn't want kids to know about it. Thinks it might encourage them to have sex, as if most kids (especially guys) need any encouragement. All they think about. Time for the churches to admit we need birth control globally, and a lot of it. Otherwise over-population or abortions, or both. The days of promoting the big catholic families should be over. Look at the over-population of Mexico right on our border, for instance. Partly the Catholic church's fault. And we get the spillover.

David, another problem in China and most other Asian countries is that there are more boys than girls under 18. Unborn girls are much more likely to be killed, er, aborted than unborn boys.

But I'm sure AS knew this already. Remember, he's the self-proclaimed authority on sex and religion.
