Many of you seem to have had considerable frustration lately with two types of issues.

Ad-Ware and Pop-Ups

Ad-Ware (also called spy ware) is software that loads itself on your PC with or without your authorization. During normal functioning of your PC, certain data is collected from what you do and it is reported back to a central fileserver. A good example is the popular music player called "Real Player". This is an excellent program and very functional. It also collects data about what you listen to and reports it back to a central location at Real.Com.

Pop-Ups are the annoying extra windows that open when you go to certain websites. Any of you who have gone to www.yahoo.com have probably seen the advertisement for their web camera sales. This advertisement is a separate window that opens no matter how many times you turn it off. Other pop-ups may be inappropriate to children or may be offensive to many.

There is a solution to both of these problems
