She's "decent" if James Carville's "decent". But at least Carville has a devilish sense of humor and is frighteningly (even to his foes) entertaining. Makes fun of his looks, etc. Married Mary Matalin which is hilarious in itself. Karen Hughes is just a tough politicial bee-atch who spins BS with the best of them. She's worked with Enron so long she doesn't know truth from fiction. I'm sure she wanted and expected the Ari Fleischer job and feels passed over. But the reason she didn't get it, she's not diplomatic, she's irritating as hell to foes and she is anything but telegenic. Also, someone else is telling Bush what to say and think now. Go ahead and wax nostalgic about her but Bush is better off without her. Repeat after me "war on terrorism", "no child left behind", "evil, evil, evil". gg We need a no spin zone in the White House but unfortunately will never get it.
